water retention and circulation. try laying down on your back and elevating your leg while you sleep at night.
Ibuprofen is for pain or fever. It will not reduce the swelling much from an injury, as that is not an inflammatory process.
I would not do that. I would get it ASAP!
My ankle just stopped swelling 2 days ago witch was 2 months after I sprained it! so it may be swollen for a while
You can try staying off your ankle for a couple of days and heat your ankle instead of iceing it. this might help. i did it to my leg and it felt better. ! I soaked my ankle in warm water for 10 minutes every day and it helped. I also stayed off it and avoided sports for a while. My ankle felt better but if your ankle hurts really bad, then I would go to a doctor. You could also try a roll on or gel pain reliever on your ankle. I hope my advice helps!
Yes i can play
Depends on the injury. :(
I would wrap the area with a tensor bandage and keep it elevated to avoid swelling. Try to stay off the ankle for 3 to 5 days so that the swelling has a chance to go down then apply light pressure to the ankle.
Yes as when you have a sprained ankle you can't put pressure on your foot if your foot is severly sprained. I would recomend getting crutches but (if you don't want to wear crutches you can wear an ankle brace where you can get from any store) only use them for about 3-7 days and start trying to walk and do muscle exercises. You can get crutches from a pharmacy/drug store. Hope this helps.
Although you may Want crutches if it hurts a lot when you walk, that doesn't necessarily mean that you Need them. It would be a good idea to check in with a doctor if this condition persists for a few days or more.
Usually. The swelling will subside in a few days.
If you just sprained your ankle, a few days rest will be sufficient. If you are suffering from Achilles Tendonitis it is best to consult your primary doctor as soon as possible.
Yes, my friend "Bailey" broke his 2 days ago.
