PCV valve is shot. The oil leaks down the intake snorkle to the filter.
A vacuum leak, A plugged fuel filter, A faulty fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator,
The most common things would be a plugged fuel filter or a vacuum leak.
If the casing is spilt a filter will leak an incorrectly installed filter will also leak.
might be a clogged fuel filter or some kind of leak in your fuel lines allowing air in the system.
A broke fuel line can cause a 1995 Beretta to leak fuel into air filter assembly. An exhaust leak can also cause this issue.
Sounds like a possible oil pan gasket leak, also check around the oil filter and make sure that it seated properly when it was installed.
Restricted fuel filter, air filter caused by lack of maintenance. Internal or external fuel leaks. Check for an external leak in the valley of the engine, the cam driven fuel pump is in the center of the engine and has a tendency to leak. A internal leak would be a cracked head, check the coolant and oil for fuel contamination.
The old oil filter gasket might still be stuck on the engine block. Having the two gaskets in place will not allow the filter to seat correctly causing a leak.
Piston rIngs are shot, time for an overhaul.
I am having the same issue, but more violent. Oil sprays out. Replace filter, add new oil, start car, filter seal breaks and proceeds to spray all the oil out again. What would cause that much presure?
You could strip the threads and cause a leak very easily.
Headgasket!
