Confining a dog to a cage all day is entirely based on your personal preference. If your dog is disobedient and goes to the bathroom in your house, it is a cleaner bet to keep him locked up. If you are not home most of the day, but can't bear to lose your pet, you can lock him up most of the day and release him when you are home.

My hasmter keeps leaving her babies and roaming around the cage is this normal?

Yes, for the most part at least. If she's not sitting on top of the babies at all, then she might be trying to abandon the pups.Worst case scenario, you can just confine her to a small cage with the pups.

Is it bad to feed cockatiels in their cage?

No it's fine to feed cockatiels in their cage. I feed mine in their cage as they will not eat out of my hand. Just make sure you clean their cage thoroughly every day, including perches, dishes, toys etc. Also make sure your birds have vegetables and fruit to eat aswell as seeds or pellets to keep them healthy.

What do you do if a hamster mother got out of her cage?

put her back in, first of all. maybe cage is too wide and she can slip through the holes. If she gets out again, i would get a new cage with smaller slots

Your hamester fells cold all the time?

I would recommend putting a heater in the room the cage is located. But, not too close to the hamsters cage. If the hamster is still shivering after about a week, you might want to but a old t-shirt in his/her cage so it can bury in it. If the hamster is STILL shivering, i say you should show him/her to a vet or animal specialist. Have a nice day!

Calendar method safety?

How big of cage does a chinchilla need?

Always try to get the largest cage possible for your Chinchilla and remember they need space to move around in. Chinchillas love to climb and jump, so it is better to have a cage that is higher than it is wide and you can put up kiln dried wood shevles. The minimum size cage to get would be around 3 feet by 2 feet by 2 feet.

My hamster had mold in her cage and has wet tail she is a baby and she won't eat or drink what should I do PS I only want to know if there IS something I can do?

Well first of all there should not be mold in a hamsters cage. Try taking your hamster out of the cage and keep her/him in something else for a while. Scrub his/her cage really well, get hamster "cage clean" to get the stink out. Your hamster should be fine.

How do you chose the perfect cage for small animals?

The cage for your small pet can vary depending on the type of animal you have. Details can also vary depending on how much you want to spend on the pet, how much space you have, and what is available to you. Take all of these into consideration along with the material of the cage, and whether or not it's a single floored cage. Everything combined should help you decide a good cage for your favorite pet!
