The switch is burned out. Replace it.
You cannot override the driver's side power window. What would be the purpose of overriding that window and locking it out? There will always be a driver and that driver will always want to control that window. Unless you are asking how to make the window go up and down manually. Again you cannot accomplish that as it is an electric power window which can only be controlled from the P/W switch. If it is not working then it will have to be repaired.
what is a window release?
I would replace the master window switch
Probably a bad switch in the drivers door.
each window has it's own window regulator and window motor. so if one is working and one is not, you would have to take the door panel off and see if one or the other is working, or the window may just be off the window track
I would check the switches first then check the window motor for passengers side.
Bad switch? Bad motor? see if you are getting power to it Open wire usually found in door jamb area
Not sure about yours but I I know that sometimes we leave our window down and rain may get into the controls on the inside of the door and cause them to corrode and not make good connection under them.Good luck.
Its possible you:ve blown a fuse, I would check them first.could also be window motor or your main window control
The button on the driver's door that disables all windows except the driver's window. Push that button and all power will be restored to all windows. If not, that button may be defective. The button on the driver's door that disables all windows except the driver's window. Push that button and all power will be restored to all windows. Check your fuses, check for power going into the window motor, exc.
If the passenger side works fine and there is no power at the driver side motor, I would suspect the switch. A weak motor will overheat the switch causing it to melt inside where the contacts are.
