For peace. They feel called. They want a simple life. They want to go to heaven.
I don't see why a Christian monk would want to. The hours are long, filled with readings and teachings of the Buddha, there is a lot of study and debate over the Buddhas teachings (BTW the Buddha endorsed debating his teachings as a method of both proving him right or wrong and as a method of making his followers actually understanding his teachings through reason and logic, not blind faith). So a Christian monk would not find much teachings or veneration of Jesus in a Buddhist monastery.
There is no specific clothing a Buddhist wears. Lay people will wear whatever they want. Monks typically wear robes. The style of the robe is dependent upon the lineage and monastery they belong to.
its not that they want to be its just that they are
beacause they want to
No, I would not want to be mooned by someone. It is disrespectful and inappropriate behavior.
contact gestures is when someone touches someone to get something they want. An example would be if someone wanted a cookie they would grab someone or if they did not want a cookie they would push it away. A distal gesture is pointing to soemthing they want.
For what reason would a buddhist want to pick flowers? Is the purpose because they are so pretty a buddhist cant walk away? Perhaps allowing the next person to also enjoy natures candies would be the kindest act. if say the buddhist were making an offering...a gift or something less self absorbed then this is also kind. If taking a flower killed its plant...that would be unkind...even as a gift. •:)
If she want to, she may. If she does not want want to, it does not matter.
