Why would strange dogs cower when I am present. I am four for four this week. This is very odd.?

Well, I know that some dogs bark at a person because they feel threaten or they don't know the person. Are you a stranger to these dogs? Also, animals know when a person is doing something bad in their lives like cheating or lying. They tend to bark if they know one is not a good person. But, I do not know why they would cower away.
