The low coolant sensor is etiher plugded, broken, or your coolant is actually low. Check the radiator and resivor tank to see if they are full. If they are and the light is on, drain the coolant. Be careful not to break the plastic petcock. The sensor is located next to the battery on the right side of the car. Remove the battery and pull the sensor out. Clean it or replace it. then put everything back together.

there is no reset you have replace the low coolant sensor and flush cooling system and use dexcool coolant.
Just had the same problem on my Grand Am. It was the water pump.

how to fix the light for the clock radio in a 2003 Pontiac grand am
On the side of the radiator, by the filler neck? This is the only low coolant sensor I know of. *Ditto here; There is only one for temp and another for coolant level. Each sets off a different warning light on the dash.
bad sensor
loosing coolant without leaking under the car, so it is burning coolant, mine is staying on and so is engine light and it is also a 99 grand am gt and just happened today :( now we to put upper gaskets in.
what light, there are a lot of them.
after you fill the coolant bottle, tap on the side with a screw driver, your float is sticking, this also happens with the washer fluid bottle. if that don't work check your wires going to the bottle
