Sounds like Stop light switch needs to be replaced Sounds like Stop light switch needs to be replaced
You probably have a bad ground. Check the grounds on the brake lights.
Well, that depends on whether you still have the lights and blinkers, ect. If there are not lights, blinkers, brake lights, or horn, then you do not need a battery to run this bike. If you do have these items, then you would need a battery
That would tell me that your battery is not dead because you do not need the car turned on for your brake lights to operate
It's probably your Alternator that is going bad. That is if the battery and brake lights came on at the same time.
bulb gone? fuse burned? battery dead?
Either the brake light switch or on brake pedal there is a button that pushes the switch and it fell out.
the plug behind the battery might be unplugged or that same plug is disconnected from the fuse box
No cars brake lights will work when the car is off, it's a simple fact of the way that cars are wired. Why would they wire something that isn't needed when the car is not running, to work while the car is off, all that would do is leave a failure point, I.E. what if somehow the brake light got stuck on, instead of turning off with the car, it stays on and the battery goes dead while you are in work.
Alternator has/is going bad.
Alternater may not be charging would be my first thought.
you don't really know unless you get the vehicle tested...most likely it would be your battery or your brakes
brake switch ???
