You drain coolant from the radiator. but according to the book ther are two plugs on the engine block that need to drain the coolant from.
Look under the radiator on the driver's side. There's a hole that's about an inch and a half in diameter that allows access to a plastic screw. This is the drain plug, you can remove it completely to allow the coolant to drain faster. Make sure the engine is not hot as coolant can be boiling temperature and will burn you if not allowed to cool down. there is a drain plug/petcock in one of the corners on the engine side of the radiator. you just have to open that and the coolant will drain out. remember coolant is hazardous to pets as well as the environment.
