When my 2003 suburban did it. It turned out to be bearings. After replacing the bearings, no problems since. The bearing assembly has abs sensor attached.

The fuel in a 1996 Chevy Tahoe is in the same place it has been in every car I've ever had: THE FUEL TANK. ()
every 3k miles
GM generally reccomends every 30,000 miles but every 50,000 is fine.
No, every Tahoe produced has been powered by a V8. Not true the 4.1 liter inline 6 cylinder was installed in the Tahoe/Yukon is some countries but not in the U.S.
The maintenance schedule of a Chevrolet Tahoe recommends changing the oil every 3000 miles and rotating the tires every 9000 miles. The schedule also recommends flushing the transmission every 30,000 miles.
In order to stop a car using ONLY the emergency brake, roughly 4 times the force would have to be applied to the emergency brake system that the normal brake system. This is because the emergency brake only activates one to two pads in the rear of the vehicle, where as the normal brake system activates ALL the pads on every wheel. Emergency brakes are NOT designed to stop a moving vehicle, they are designed to hold a stopped vehicle in place.
Sorry the question is missing something. The brake system is in every car. Is something wrong with yours?
IF YOU have never done it, Then do it now Fluid and filter. Then change it every 20,000 miles there after.
Chevy Tahoe dealerships are all over the country and can be found in every state. A could place to look would be in the local phone book. A person could also look in the local newspaper, because the Sunday edition has numerous ads from car dealers.
My 2002 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 engine has 187,000 miles and is purring like a kitten! Still have the original trans in it and have never done any major engine work to it. I run Mobil 1 synthetic oil in my engine and change the oil every 5,000. I love my Tahoe and plan on keeping it for many many more years. I am curious how many miles you have on your Tahoe. Good luck. My Tahoe has 250000miles on it and its still running strong. Wonder how long it will last also.
It is best to change the oil after every 6000 miles. The most important thing is to follow the recommendations for your car.
