I would guess that something might be jammed in the tracks or it is an electrical issue. Sometimes the connections to the switches are bad, sometimes the switch itself is bad, and sometimes the moter is burned out. Listen to hear if the motor is running, if so, check the track and see if it is jammed. If you don't hear anything you have some electrical tracking to do. VBD

What is Telescopic Steering?

Telescopic steering wheel means the distance between the steering wheel and the dash board can be adjusted. Like a telescope, you can move the steering wheel forward or backward. This feature allows the driver to adjust the distance of the steering wheel from the dash board as per his height and sitting position. The manual version is available in most of the cars. Some cars have the power version of this feature like Lexus ES 350.

Circuit breakers on a 1999 Lexus es300?

I think you are speaking of the fuse holders. There is one under the hood for several functions, the bigger high amp features, alternator, and so on. Then there is one in the driver compartment, left of the steering wheel. These are the old wedge type fuses. Autozone has the big 100amp fuses for like $3.00 and change. No need to go to Toyota or Lexus dealer.

What does driving in second gear do to a Lexus driving on high way speed?

Well, driving at highway speeds in any vehicle in 2nd gear, will raise the RPM of the engine, meaning that the engine is working that much harder to maintain the speed. As the engine constantly revs at a higher RPM, it heats up alot quicker, which in the end could do alot of damage to your car. And if its a Lexus, i would advise to SWITCH gears and keep an eye on your RPM and temperature gauge

Is the Toyota a340e transmission in the 95 supra the same as in the 94 Lexus sc400?

Yes. They both use the A340E. Which is different than the A341E, used in the LS/Celsior. The A340E uses different gearing and valve body, but is similar to the A341E.
