The main prospects of an observatory on the moon is that there would be less artificial light from human activity to cloud the visible light from stellar objects, and also, having no atmosphere means there would be less interference of the image that a telescope/observatory would be trying to see.

Yerkes. Yerkes 990 is classified as a minor planet
The US Naval Observatory's web site has a calculator that will allow you to see the phases of the Moon, or to calculate the times of sunrise and sunset. Check out the link below
If you mean 1/80, that would refer to the Moon's mass - it is about 1/80. of the Earth's mass. The Moon's diameter, on the other hand, is about 1/4 of the Earth's diameter; this would make the Moon's volume about 1/64 (1/4 cubed) of the Earth's volume.
There wouldn't be any reflection from the Sun and you would be able to get a full image of the Earth from afar.

If you built an observatory on the lunar surface, there would be no atmosphere to battle in viewing what you needed to see. Therefore, as far as an observatory goes, one could see more due to the fact that the sky would be much more clear from the moon since it has no atmosphere than that of Earth, which does.

Not much that is good. I would recommend you get the kitchen.
Any flat piece of land would make a good landing site.
It would present communication problems, BUT it would be an excellent place to set up an observatory.
Charon, the moon of Pluto, was discovered in 1978 at the United States Naval Observatory Flagstaff Station.
What is meant is having an observatory on the moon vice in low earth orbit. Search some of the other questions that were answered on this topic for further information.
Yes. The moon has a surface covered in rocks and dust, which is not good for skateboarding. The low gravity would also make things difficult.
In the Observatory once you look through the telescope and shoot the moon
