I found the answer - the wiring harness you can buy to connect from SONY to Toyota had a missing wire - it can be fixed by swapping another wire in the wiring harness over
No. The radio or amp would be fused, but not the speakers.
a short
You would probably be using a radio receiver. It is possible you'd be using a transceiver, which combines the functions of a transmitter and a receiver.
Must be that you are using the old speaker wiring that is COMMON GROUND wired. Aftermarket Radio will not like that sort of wiring for speakers. You need to run new wires at least to the rear speakers or I would do all 4 just cause the wiring is old.
You can do it with "net user" commands.
the factory radio is bad on the inside or speaker ohm load is different are your speakers aftermarket?
you.
That would be a mono radio, usually found in older cars. You may connect 2 speakers, in parallel, but you will have no balance control. Simply wire positive to positive, and negative to negative of both speakers.
radio radio
The radio wiring would be found behind the wiring, and to the fusebox of the car. It would be found throughout the car to the speakers as well.Ê
There are many places to purchase speakers for cd players, but the most common i believe would be Radio Shack or Fry's Electronics.
if you are going to buy aftermarket speakers for you car i suggest you buy a sterio to go with it because the standard radio only pushes out so much wattage which means it only goes so loud. If you want to improve the sound in your car you would need to buy a radio to go with the speakers.
