Defective Flasher Relay.
ALSO....
For me, it was a bad contact between the front signal/DRL bulb and its connector. I cleaned the wire contact points on the bulb, and CAREFULLY used a pocket-knife to slightly bump up the contact wires from the bulb to ensure better contact. Worked like a charm on both sides when it happened to me on two separate occasions.
Probably needs a fuse.
you need to change the flasher can for the signal lights
turn signal relay is bad
Buy a "highway" turn signal flasher
I had a problem where drive lights had burnt out,I noticed it caused the other lights to blink faster,I ignored it for a while until my signal switch burnt out, apparently the olds intrigue uses an electronic signal control that can be overheated and burnt out if you leave a bulb out, replacement hazard blinker assembly upwards of $50,else where Ive heard intrigues get shorts around the bulb assemblies,on of the few things that has not happened to my intrigue,oh cr#p spoke too soon
burnt fuse. check the fuse box
You either have a bulb burnt out or the turn signal flasher is bad.
Maybe a short somewhere...did you replace the flasher unit? No - it was blinking spuradically(?) - now I have to blink it manually and it won't blink at all with lights on.
That can happen when there is a bad ground to one of the lights.
Check electrical grounds
not sure what causes it, but sometimes my signals will just not work. with lever still in position to activate signal, push button for hazards. then put signal lever in "off" position. turn off hazards. signals should work. temporarily anyway.
If the lights blink fast on either side of the car then this means you either have non-factory bulbs in the car or you need to replace your blinkers because one of your lights is out.
