mechanical engine trouble. its about to blow up.
Low oil pressure = Oil pressure has dropped, STOP Check engine = Problem with the emission's system. Temperture = Engine overheating, STOP Maintence required = Some sort of maintence is due, normally Oil/Filter change.
If the check engine light is on a malfunction that is effecting the engine emission control system has been detected If the check gage light is on , either your engine coolant temperature is too high , your engine oil pressure is too low , or your gas gauge is at or near empty
Either : The engine coolant temperature is HIGH The engine oil pressure is LOW Or the fuel gauge is at or near EMPTY
Either : The engine coolant temperature is HIGH The engine oil pressure is LOW Or the gas guage is at or near EMPTY
No , the CHECK " GAGE " light comes on if the gas gauge is at or near empty , the engine coolant temperature is HIGH , or the engine oil pressure is LOW
The oil pressure sensor for a 1987 F150 could be bad. If the sensor is good and the pressure has actually dropped then the oil pump may be bad again.
Either your engine coolant temperature is too hot , your engine oil pressure is too low , or your gas gauge is at or near empty
If it is like my Ford Explorer , the check gage light comes on if the engine coolant temperature is high , the engine oil pressure is low , or the fuel level is near empty
According to the 2006 Ford Expedition Owner Guide : The " CHECK GAGE " light comes on if the engine coolant temperature is HIGH or the engine oil pressure is LOW
On a 2002 Ford Ranger : The check " gage " light comes on if : The engine coolant temperature is TOO HIGH The engine oil pressure is TOO LOW or The fuel gauge is at or near empty
The check " gage " light on in your 1997 Mercury Mountaineer indicates that either your engine oil pressure is LOW , your engine temperature is HIGH or your gas tank is AT OR NEAR EMPTY .
