Is this being asked because of seeing a puddle under the car only when the a/c has been run?
If that's the case, it's not the water pump, it is condensate that is draining out and is normal.
If it is truly a water pump leak, it really doesn't matter when it leaks, you're going to have to replace it.

It would help if you listed which engine you have. The 3.0 liter V6 has 145 h.p. The 3.4 liter SHO V6 has 235 h.p.
