Why would this happen... when you step on the brake no brake lights come on. The turn signals come on solid?

Check to see if the switch on top of the steering column is on. Flick the switch in the opposite direction to turn them off. It has a separate switch for it. Hope this helps.

You have a combination switch that is defective. The turn signal switch cancel one side from blinking so the oyher stays on solid.
