Is it possible someone in your past (including a parent(s)) has abandoned you or perhaps a friend or the fact your mate has given you good reason? Eventually we all realize we can't control other people and we sure won't know them 100% because we don't even know ourselves 100%. If you are young then wisdom does grow on you and you will probably get over being jealous and insecure. If you are acting out these feelings with your mate then it's time to do something about it or you will lose him. Sit down alone and write out on a piece of paper what makes you jealous and feel insecure. Put it away for a week, bring it out and read it. You'll be surprised what you will discover. It's time to start changing yourself a little (all of us have to change constantly to improve ourselves) and if you find something about yourself you don't like then try to improve on it. Sometimes its as simple as a new hairstyle, different clothes, losing a few pounds and getting some good make-up tips, but beware ... that is you that is perceiving yourself and not the one who loves you.
