it happens when you're pregnant, on oral contraception, late period and the blood is exposed to air (endometrial tissues),
serious reasons are: Cervical cancer, chlamydia, vaginal warts.
better better nutrition and increase in water daily will take care of it if it's old endometrial tissues and changing the pill may help. if you suspect you're pregnant get in touch with your doctor.if you suspect something more serious go for a consultation asap
Normally, no. It's natural to get that before (sometimes) and after your period. It's like a marker for the beginning and end. However, if it is excessive or lasts for a long time, I would see your doctor. :)
Your discharge would be white before menstruation. You may also experience spotting so see brown or pink discharge.
Yes, this is normal. Your vagina is still "cleaning" itself out. The brown discharge is just old blood. Gross, I know, but it's totally normal. If you have brown discharge for more than a couple of days, I would see a doctor about that. Abnormal discharge can be a sign of an infection or STD.
You should see a doctor for any sort of discharge during pregnacy. It could be an infection which they would need to treat.
Vaginal discharge is not usually brown. This could be from an infection in which dried blood from your period is coming out... I would get it checked out by a doctor since it is not supposed to be brown!!
Having brown discharge is pretty common. It usually means you are about to start your period, however if you've had this for more than a couple days it would be best to consult your doctor.
I would say that it is.
Vaginal discharge is the hallmark to STD.. get tested. Brown smelly discharge is Gonnorhea. If it is ordorless brown discharge around the 28th day when your cycle would have been, that is a normal side effect of the treatment and a pant liner should take care of it. It should be less than 2 tablespoons of drainage. If it is more in volume and it's persistent... refrain from sex and get tested for STD.
I am 7 weeks pregnant to the day. I have been spotting brown for the last few days. Last night it turned into blood. I went to the doc and had an exam. He heard the placenta and my cervix is closed so that is a very good sign. Later in the day I had an ultrasound, I saw the little peanut and the heartbeat. I was told that 7 weeks would be right around your period so not to worry. I would say if it lasts longer than two weeks of red blood get it checked out otherwise the brown is old blood.
It is fairly normal, yes. However, if you experience pain and the discharge gets brighter or heavier, go and see the doctor/midwife/obstetrician straight away. Most women have some kind of brown discharge during pregnancy though.
Brown discharge is old blood and can also indicate that implantation bleeding has occurred. I would recommend you perform a pregnancy test.
NO.unless the bleeding gets heavy then i would call your doctor, but sometimes light pink discharge could mean the weight of your pregnancy, but if it keeps doing it then i would go to the doctor
