It can be caused by stress..if your really stressed about something it can trigger it and cause your period to start again..well that's what happens to me anyway.

What occurs on the 14 day of the menstrual cycle?

Typically on day 14 of the menstrual cycle is when ovulation occurs - when an egg is released from the ovary. However everyone's menstrual cycles are different, if the cycle is longer it's likely ovulation occurs far later in the cycle than this.

You were late five days then got your period you are never late what can be happening?

You were five days later than you predicted - this prediction was based on your average menstrual cycle length, but menstrual cycles change and they will not be exactly the same throughout your entire life. Anything up to a weeks variation from your average menstrual cycle is normal, also things such as ill health or stress can delay your menstrual cycles too.

Is it normal for a women to start her period a week later after having intercourse?

Yes, this is normal. Intercourse doesn't effect menstruation at all so it has no relation to your period, when your period starts is dependent on your menstrual cycle - sex doesn't effect this.

Where does the ovum mature during your period?

The ovum matures in the ovary during your menstrual phase. Then later in your menstrual cycle the egg will burst from the ovary during ovulation.

Is there any concern if your period came 2 days later than expected?

It's normal for there to be around 7 days variation from your average menstrual cycle. Your period wasn't late so much as later than you had predicted, that's all.

Menstrual cycle week early but only last 1 day month later abdomen pain and sore breast?

Your menstrual cycle could have been mistaken for implantation bleeding. I recommend that you take a pregnancy tests to confirm.

I am 13 years old and I am late on my period but I am still a virgin?

This is normal. Anything up to 7 days variation from your normal menstrual cycle is normal, but even if it is later than this it's still absolutely fine because irregular cycles are normal at your age - your body may not be mature enough to ovulate regularly thus you will not menstruate regularly, and as your body is changing this can effect your menstrual cycles too. Don't expect regular cycles until you reach adulthood.

Is it normal for a 12 year old to have her period then a week later have it again?

This will not be two periods - a week isn't long enough for your body to have gone through a menstrual cycle. One of these bleeds may have been menstruation, but the other is likely to have been bleeding for another reason. It's normal for pre-teens and teens to experience irregular patterns of bleeding as it takes time for hormones to regulate.

If you had your last menstrual cycle on January 29 when should your next menstrual start?

It depends entierly on your menstrual cycle. The average menstrual cycle is 28 days - thus if you had a 28 day cycle your next period after January 29th would be due around February 26th (28 days later) - but everyone's menstrual cycle is different, also even with very regular cycles it is normal to have up to 7 days variation so anything from 19th February to 5th March would be normal. If you're new to menstruation it's best to assume your period will be around every 28 days until you've had your period long enough to know your own average menstrual cycle length - although don't be concerned if your period comes sooner or even much longer after 28 days.Once you've had your periods a while you can figure out your average menstrual cycle length to determine when your periods may be due. To figure out your average menstrual cycle;Count days from the first day of your period up until the next - this is one cycle.Add together the cycle lengths of your last 6 cycles.Devide that number by 6 to get an average. As long as your periods come within 7 days of that average cycle length they are considered regular, but bare in mind that irregular cycles are normal up until adulthood and even adult women get the occasional late cycle or their cycles can change slightly. You can also use online cycle tracking or apps to figure this out for you, or you can use Fertility Awareness Method to tell you exactly when your periods are due.

How long is it normal for your period to be late?

It's generally not normal for your period to be late - typically your menstrual cycles will follow a pattern and it's normal for there to be around a weeks variation from your average menstrual cycle. If your period is later than predicted how long it is delayed depends on why it is late, if you are sexually active you may want to take a pregnancy test to confirm whether you could be pregnant or not, otherwise it's not a concern until you've gone three months without menstruating.

How do you count day of fertility?

you do not count the day you had sex, it goes by the day of your last period, or menstrual cycle. then 38 weeks later you give birth

What does it mean when you menstrual cycle ends then start back after 2 years?

well, if your saying that you never had your period before and then you started, and then two years later you started again...............then it does not mean anything. that's actually normal,so you have nothing to worry about, I wondered the same thing when that happened to me.=)
