Dear Reader; The timing of periods depends on the body clock in the brain. The brain sends signals which cause hormonal changes and the hormones are the signal which starts a period. The hormones in BC pills can cause a period to come early or late. An emotional event or physical trauma can cause hormonal changes and thus a period change. Dwight
Spotting can be caused by a number of things, including stress, but in most cases is not a cause for concern.
Hormonal variations are a common reason for spotting while on the pill, particularly if you have not been on it for long, if you have missed a pill, or if you don't take the pill at the same time each day.
Spotting can also be caused by injury to the vagina or cervix, for example from intercourse, insertion of other objects, or pelvic exams. This is more likely to happen things inserted are not well lubricated, so if you feel dry try using an appropriate lubricant like KY jelly. (Remember oil and condoms don't mix!)
Finally, spotting could be caused by an infection or even cancer, so if the problem persists or you have other symptoms, do consult a doctor.
The pill you are taking might not be the correct pill for you, contact your physician.
A normal cycle can be as short as 21 days. If it is an annoyance, see GYN for pill regulation to reset your cycle.
I don't know why I know this but Yes you can my girlfriend has gotten it a day early while being on the pill. Not sure what it means though I'm a dude
Well hun, your not suppost to. This pill is supposed to stop your periods as well as keeping you from getting preagnent. If you had your period the 2nd week then see a doctor.
When menstrual periods first start, it takes several months for them to become regular.
If you get your period early on the pill, you should continue taking the pill as scheduled, regardless of any bleeding.
Yes, Specially during the first month!
It's totally normal. It's just dried blood from your last period.
You would not know you are pregnant as you haven't even missed a period yet. A pregnancy is measured from the first day of the last period. So you are 4 weeks when the next period is due. BTW - if you are not spotting, that's a good sign (if you want to be pregnant). No spotting means less chance of miscarriage.
conception occurs appr 2 weeks after ur last period not before because if you got pregnant before your period your period would not come on conception occurs appr 2 weeks after ur last period not before because if you got pregnant before your period your period would not come on
Spotting during pregnancy can occur about the time you would usually have a period. However, with a miscarriage there is more active bleeding and tissue is passed with abdominal cramping. Just spotting does not indicate a miscarriage.
Pregnancy is a possibility but it's slim. I would recommend that you perform a pregnancy test in 2-3 weeks to determine if you have conceived or not.
No but it could be that you are ovulating. Implantation for instance can cause some spotting but it's not something that you would feel and that would also depend on when you had sex. You can take a test 2 weeks after sex.
Spotting alone is not an indication of pregnancy, you would have to have other symptoms to tie it in. It could be a sign of implantation. I would wait for more symptoms or a late AF before assuming PG.
If your spotting one day, then get your period the next day, that would indicate that your are NOT pregnant...
Your discharge would be white before menstruation. You may also experience spotting so see brown or pink discharge.
It is unlikely as you only ovulate 2 weeks after a period so would not yet be pregnant. This is intermenstrual bleeding and unless it is caused by trauma is abnormal. See your doctor.
Hi there, usually if you have spotting before your period or roughly the same time, it could be a sign of implantation bleeding as this can happen anywhere between 6+ days after ovulation, since you have indicated that you are spotting after your expected period it could either be a very very light period and that you could be pregnant or it is the start of your period. Good luck and hope this helps. PS if you have missed your period now would be a good time to test!!
From what I have been reading about implantation bleeding I would say that the dark spotting is that. I would say that you should estimate a week before the dark spotting and that is when you got pregnant.
