That would be the hormones. If it goes on into a second shot (that is over 3 months) you need to discuss an alternative form of contraception.

The uterus is a muscle. It's the contraction of this muscle that causes both menstrual cramps and birth cramps. You can have uterine cramping at the time you would have had your first period after conception. If you have spotting after this time for your first period tell your doctor soon. It's normal to have cramps during pregnancy. They're likely to be from other causes -- stomach cramps, constipation, etc. You may want to mention them to your doctor at your next regular visit. ============================== I am 4 weeks pregnant and my cramps feel very similar to period cramps. However, the seem to be just slightly higher and a little more dull. They are also paired with nausea and breast tenderness.
This may be caused by a ovarian cyst. See your Physican.
Everyone is different but I usually get mine in my back, lower stomach and I get wicked headaches. Don't be concerned if you dont get cramps in these areas-- everyone is different. But I would talk to a doctor if your periods seem, erm, weird.
No, It is not normal. I am not a doctor or a nurse. I would go see a doctor as soon as possible.
i recently found out i was pregnant and my first symptom was breast tenderness... i don't usually have breast tenderness except on occasion before my period. also i had cramps like the pre-period cramps but i just never got my period. my stomach area feels strange... i wouldn't say tight though. i would take a pregnancy test.. and if that is positive go to the doctor and ask for a blood test... i had a urine test at the clinic and she said that was very accurate and it came out negative had a blood test and was for sure pregnant... so it was a waste of money the blood test is more accurate....hope this helps
Generally no. Many people consume dry cereal in the form of granola without milk. If consuming too much dry products gave one stomach cramps, consuming water or any other liquid with the cereal would be just as effective. Milk has no special property in relieving or preventing stomach cramps any more than other fluids.
abdominal pain
Yes, but I wouldn't recommend it. Drinking pentobarbital would cause severe stomach cramps and vomiting, a great deal of pain, and may or may not be lethal.
