Why would you have your period in the middle of your pill pack?

I can't explain why, but it is normal. Your body is getting used to the hormone so it can take a while before they happen at the end of the pill pack.

Can you stop taking the pill Seasonique in the middle of a pack?
I am currently taking Seasonique. I met with my OBGYN about 2 months ago because my husband and I are going to try to get pregnant. My doctor told me it was fine to stop taking the pill in the middle of a pill pack. I stopped taking it Thursday which was right in the middle of my pack; today is Sunday. I expected to have a period by now because of the abrupt cessation of taking the pill, but I have not had one yet. Hope this helps!
If you have never taken the pill can you start a new pack to prevent getting your period?
All I know is that if you continuously take the pill, you will not have your period. This means the week that you should start your period, you would start a new pack. I skipped one month, but by the time I got through my second pack of pills, stopped taking the pill so I would have my period. I just felt so bloated and yucky. If skipping your periods is why you want to go on the pill, I suggest something like Seasonique. You only have your period every 3 months.

You start your new pack of pills when you finish your old pack. Lets say you had you last pill on a Wednesday, you then start your new pill on Thursday. If its your first pack you have ever taken then you either start your first pill on the day you start your period or on the Sunday during your period. At first you period will not go with the pill correctly; it my take a month or two for your period to adjust.

Are you on the pill. Because if you are just start another pill pack on the week that you would normally start your placebo (no hormone) pills. That way you won't have your period until the end of the next pill pack.

you can start taking another pack even if you're not through with the first one you can start taking the first white pill from the new pack on the first day of your period and disregard the remaining red/brown pills that you took.

I would start on that Sunday. I took the pill for years and started the new pack 2-3 days after my period started. It is just important that you start to take them again otherwise they don't work.
