Plasma TVs have excellent contrast and can produce deeper blacks than LCD TVs. Additionally, plasma TVs display more natural colors. They also have a wider viewing angle than LCD TVs.
Plasma televisions come in much larger sizes than a HDTV television. They also have better contrast. Plasma screens are four to five times brighter. Plasma screens take up less space because they can be hung on a wall like a picture.
HDTV is not really a tv technology. Today pretty much all TVs are HDTV. I think what you are asking is maybe plasma vs. LCD (or LED.... very similar). The quick and simple answer is LCD.......... I have worked in the industry for over a decade and what the majority of people buy is not the best...
I would prefer the LG LED TV. Plasma TVs have serious heating issues. You will notice a couple degrees increase in the room once you turn on the plasma for over 30 min. I would recommend the LG LED TV as they are very energy efficient and last longer than plasmas.
This TV has a built in digital tuner and is HDTV ready so you can view over the air HD programming.
By itself, no. But if it was in a gun, it would have to be a metal/alloy that could withstand it, as plasma can only be used as a weapon when superheated. Plasma can be over 9000 degrees, so at this point, no element that humanity knows of can withstand this.
You should use plain water to clean your HDTV. Any thing else can potentially damage the screen.
An HDTV should not eventually stop scanning for channels. Provided you have properly cared for your TV, this is not a common problem.
Ok, over half of your blood is plasma.
You can look at your HDTV as being more important in the decision over Xbox 360 and PS3 because there signals go to the HDTV which for most people including myself is not even an LED HDTV

If you are over 13, I would recommend it. It is pretty funny.
