We need to save the ocean for plenty of reasons.
I will give you a list.
1. Think of all the animals for example ; the Giant squid blue ray's Great White Sharks ,even some small ones like your average gold fish! they would all die out if we pollute the ocean!
2. Think about it, were do we get our drinking water? from the rivers and lakes ,but were do they get there water? From the ocean and if we don't do something to save it ,soon we will have no clean drinking water.
3. Then we have no water so the human race will die eventually because we cannot drink the water from the lakes , rivers and the ocean all because we polluted the ocean.
4. Think about the world eventually 98% of the earth (water takes 98% of the worlds room) will become a waist land all because we polluted the ocean.
5. So then instead of having 98% of the world full of clean water we will have 98% of the world dirtywater!
So you see , saving the ocean is very very veryimportant.
