i believe your fuel pump is failing witch is located in your gas tank
first thing i would check, is that the choke is turning off completely
does my 1996 pontiac ga stall out in park
There are several things which could be causing the car to stall out while driving. The most common and least difficult problem is that the spark plugs may need to be changed.
the problem may be that the timing chain or belt has broken
Because the driver took their foot off of the gas and slowed down in a high gear. Or probably because they didnt push in the clutch. Either of those things can stall a manual transmission.
Engine stalling may be caused by several factors, such as incorrect idling speed and errors in the engine sensors. But for that symptom, it would not hurt to check a stuck braking system first.
usually the factory alarm
Torque converter clutch solenoid
It could.
If the engine runs cold you might try replacing the thermostat. I had a similar problem with a Plymouth van, at low rpms, turning corners,,, it would stall.
bad fuel filter
it sounds like the starter is locked up, if it happened while turning over. i would repace it'
