This is extremely unfortunate.
It could just be that the pup was the weekest of the litter, or if it died stillborn then this is normal as well. It happens to many litters. for mine there were about 4 stillborns. I couldn't really see it because it hadn't completely formed yet.

Um, I've never heard that before but all you need to do is buy a baby doll,(at a store) and/or buy baby doll daipers-so you know they won't hurt you guinea pig. That's how I'd make a daiper for my guinea pig. Just go out and find super small ones :)
