Why would your driver's side window suddenly go down all on it's own on a 1993 Explorer Sport while the switch operates the passenger's side window just fine?

The question is: Is this the drivers window switch but it opens the passenger side's window? Who was driving or in the driver's seat. You may have spilled enough beer on the arm rest that leaked into the switch and created a corrosive electrical connection for the window motor/
