I think the word "drunk" sums it up. It doesn't really mean anything. It certainly doesn't mean they secretly still love you and are sorry for all the terrible things they did to you and now you'll fly off together in a chariot drawn by unicorns to live happily forever after in a castle in the clouds, which is probably what you were hoping to hear.
