A short to ground somewhere in the system.
unfortunately the Chevy venture is known for have many of the sensors going bad. I have a 2000 Chevy Venture that gives the wrong readings for everything. I never know where my gas level is until it is actually 'empty'.
Gauges are generally tuned to tension on wires, if they gets tweaked the gauges can easily become faulty.
Depends on the person
When a technician uses a voltmeter he or she can measure the power going through a circuit. It can test the safety and reliability of a an appliance also.Another AnswerA voltmeter is used to measure the potential difference, or voltage, between conductors. To measure power (as mentioned in the original answer) you need a wattmeter, not a voltmeter.
First, You Keep Going Down And Down to the into the analogue voltmeter and touch it deep inside there and you are done . :D
um...check your gauges. is it out of fuel, temp too high, oil pressure too low? this light basically tells you that something is going to make you walk if you dont fix it. I believe it is "check gages" I don't know why they misspelled it. And yes, low fuel. I am all too familiar with that light. I've had to walk a couple times.
Mine did the same thing and it was the alternator going bad.
the fuel pump is cooled by the fuel around it. keep the tank from going empty, or at least above 1/4 tank.

A wire going to the battery broke off, when it was reconnected the gauges and lights on the gauges start working again, however the speedometer and the tachometer did not operate.
If you mean your gauges are going crazy, this is likely the result of a loose or bad ground wire. It could be the ground wire for your battery or any ground wire that is tied into the gauges.
