There's nothing you can do if she doesn't come around at some point - usually that'll happen when you weather your first real test of marriage, when something bad happens and you get through it okay.
The key thing is to not to let her run your house, tell you what to do or how to deal with your marriage, and you should also make it perfectly clear to your husband that you married HIM, and not her. If he doesn't get the message, cut him off from some nookie for about a month or so. He'll get the hint - you've got the one thing you can give him his Mom can't (at least I hope not).
You can also try to talk to her about it, but she probably won't let you corner her for such a conversation. Still, you can only try.
Regardless, letting your husband know what's happening is absolutely important, even if you don't want to rock the boat. If he's the kind of person that was worth marrying for the long term he should stick up for you. If not - better to find out he's a louse now than to find out after a lot of years of misery.
It's either that or put up with it. Deep down I suspect you already know that though.
