Broken/ damaged motors (not likely if both don't work)
Damaged wiring
Blown fuse
Check the fuses first this is the easiest/ cheapest problem to solve.
Just a thought have you checked the fuses?
It may be due to the control head needing replaced
I have a 2001, side mirrors were not working can you tell me what may be the problem? fuse or eletrical?
The relay is in the power distribution box under the hood on the driver side by the battery. Johnny Texas.
Always check the fuses first. Mirrors implies both. Fuse, switch, loose connection at switch.
Could be the switch between the front seats, or a fuse, or a shortcircuit in the wire with power from the battery.
Say when you turn with Trac off your motor increases and decreases power from one front wheel to another. With Trac on your motor keeps an equal amount of power to each wheel.
What I did was take the mirrors off the aftermarket mirror's, remove the motor and four wire connection. Take off the stock power mirrors, removed the mirrors, took out the stock motors and wire harness. Installed the stock motors and wire harness into the aftermarket mirrors. Plugged the wire harness back in, wired up the lights and turn indicators on the mirrors and they are working just fine.
Open front passenger door and you will see fuse box labeled on dash board. Between door and dash board.
Start with checking for blown fuses.
