This is a very deep question, which requires a lot of time and attention on your part. Being a nurse is very rewarding but also very draining and can be painful emotionally. Being a nurse requires strength, compassion and a clear mind.
You are going to be responsible for another human being. Possibly even saving their life. You have to be ready for so many different things. You have to be grounded in reality in high pressure situations and not be afraid of what you have to do.
I would suggest that you talk to someone who has been a nurse for a while. Ask them to tell you the whole story, the good, the bad and every thing else.
