"Immunoglobulin" is the biochemical description of the proteins that are also called antibodies. Which term is used depends on the context - a lot of protein research uses antibodies to detect other proteins. If the antibody itself is being studied "immunoglobulin" may be more appropriate.
immunoglobulin
An agonisitic monoclonal antibody is an immunological term for a monoclonal antibody which attempts to boost the immune system in order to fight infection or cancer.
A vaccine.
antigen
The Medical term is Precipitin.
When an antigen and antibody react it causes cells to clump together. The term used to describe the clumping of cells is called agglutination.
Emil Adolf von Behring
An antibody is a specific protein evoked by an antigen.
Antibody
The term immunoprecipitation refers to the technique of precipitating protein antigens out of a solution using an antibody that is designed to bind itself to that particular protein.
The correct term, in this instance, would be parasite.
One term that is used is antigen. An antiGEN will GENerate an ANTIbody which will 'kill' the antigen.
