Because sometimes it needs a little push or head start just to get it started :)
If it is in a vehicle you push on the gas and brake at the same time
A push bumper or push guard is an attachment to an existing bumper, mostly on trucks or larger cars, that is designed to protect both vehicles and both bumpers when one vehicle is used to push another vehicle out of traffic or out of some other jam. Look at a police car the next time you are out, the big grate looking thing attached to the front bumper is the push guard.
Not sure on the disconnect part, but after you start the truck, push your dome light on and off 4 times, you will hear it chime, the daytime running lights will then be out. But you gotta do it each time you start the vehicle....
Push vehicle up and down at all four corners one at a time and if vehicle bounces more than once it is time.. If vehicle bounces on the road it is time.
In short,it can be alot of different causes,First when is the last time you replaced the spark plugs or the fuel filter, this can cause your vehicle to take some time to start.

Did you hear about the tight end who went to prison? He came out a wide receiver
Replace the starter. All will be well.
On the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the push button start, just press the engine start button without foot on brake, then press the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 secs, then press the the engine start button once more. The display will go into accessory mode. then simply push start button again to turn accessory off, then start vehicle normally. The change oil message should now be gone. I did this and it worked first time.
You should only have the starter activated in any type of vehicle for about 15 to 20 seconds at a time. If the vehicle doesn't start within that time period, wait at least one minute before attempting to start it again.
They can start at any time; some start at 7am.
