The memory usage might be high because you have a lot of programs or tasks running in the background of your PC. To fix this right click your task bar and hit "Task Manager". From there go to "Performance" and see what is draining your memory. You will be able to end whatever program it might be from there.

∙ 10y agoOne way to determine what is taxing your computer memory is to use your Control+Alt+Delete option and open your task manager, then go to Processes and it will show what programs are using up memory. If the computer is slow, this may help to determine what might be running in the background and using your system resources. When computers randomly begin having their memory dry up, sometimes it is because some kind of spyware or hidden program is running.
