Sounds to me as if she thinks you have moved in on her mother,even tho her parents are divorced all children hope the parents will get back together. My step daughter is 43 years old(I'm 52)and she still hopes her parents get back together. He father and I have been married since she was 11. She is probably also jealous of the attention her father gives you and she wants ALL the attention Another thing she probavly can't control her father as much anymore to get her way since you came into the picture. SO I woundn't worry about trying to make her love or like you too much,that's her problem. Work on keeping your marriage together and having a happy one at that. I'm not saying be mean to her or anything but don't take anything either. I feel for you,its going to be a long road and in the end you can't make her happy that's up to her good luck!
