If the interior and parking lights are not working on a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder, the first fuses to check would be the interior light fuse. Also check to make sure the light switch is in the right position to allow the interior lights to come on.
check your fuses
It migt be a problem with the central computer or more simply by the symptoms you describe I'll go for an alarm sytem problem
The most likely reason why the interior lights of a vehicle are not working is because a fuse has blown. That is especially true if all of them are not working. Get out your owners manual. See where the fuse box is located. Find the particular fuse, and replace it.
probably the fuse is blown.
probbly the fuse box....
On a Dodge vehicle it is the computer that controls the interior lights, locks, etc...
You don't list a year so I will give you a general solution. Many vehicles have a " body control module" or "illumination control module" when one of these malfunctions many systems will be affected.
If you dash lights are not working check that your parking/brake lights are working also check fuses for cig lighter and interior lights that may help get the dash light working again.
fuse #17 in the fuse box located under the rear seat bench
check the fuse
Mainly two reasons - the bulb is not working - the fuse is not working
