Yes they do.
Zee is American And Zed is british. Zed is univerisal. The only people who say zee are Americans and those places colonized by American such as the Philippines.
Captain Zed and the Zee Zone - 1991 was released on: USA: 1991
In the United states, it is Zee Elsewhere, it is Zed
Because Americans are just wonderful like that. Because Zee is correct as it is short for the actual letter Zeta (pronouced Zeeta) as for zed is incorrect.
The only common words are die, due, id, I, and the letter names dee, zee, and zed.
Zoo,zed, zip, zig, zag, zee, zed, zoe, zig, zag, zeb, zen, zoo, zap, zot, zip, zit
z (zee or zed) try chaz, same letters in dif order
because they pronounce "z" as "zee" and not as "zed" like us.. organise and organize sound the same
Because it just is. A better question might be "Why do Americans pronounce zed as 'zee'?" Zed is arguably better, since "zee" sounds very much like C (and to some extent like B, D, E, G, P, T, and V). On the one hand, there's some logic in pronouncing all consonants "the same," but on the other, it means we have to say "tee as in tango, v as in victor, z as in zulu" and any clear unambiguous pronunciation is better than that.
The letter Z is usually not spelled out in text, but is spoken as "zee." This contrasts with the UK/Canadian variant "zed."
