only for some games. i think you need wifi to set it up, i may be wrong. to download a game from the eshop you need wifi, but to put in a physical copy of a game and play it dosen't require wifi unless the game requires wifi.
No.The way you know if a game is compatible with wifi is because the box for the game will say wifi.
Yes, but only some games. Look for a wifi symbol on the game case to see if that game is wifi compatable.
Steam. It's free to make an account and you can buy and download games including game demos and full games. They sometimes have special offers! I got portal for free with steam when there was a portal special. It's wifi so if you want to play multiplayer wifi with a game you can ask a friend to play it with you... if they have the game.
No, you need their friend code. UNLESS, you are in the Battle Tower doing a Wifi tournament. That's the only way without friend codes.
Yeah, you kinda do.
Yes but you must be in the same wifi zone as your friend.
You may not be able to join your brothers game when using the same WiFi due to your settings. If they can join your game, try to match the settings they are using and try again.
just get their friend code and click the wifi button on the game then wait till it connects then register them and if the fc is real it will work that's all its not that hard
Not unless the game requires an internet connection. If you put the game in the back, you should be able to play it. Unless you want to play with people around the world, because that would need WiFi.
Firstly, you need to have wifi, and it must work. Connect your game to the wifi. Second, go to your town gate and talk to the dog on your right called Copper. Copper will ask you if you want to find out your friend code. Select that. By connecting to wifi, he will give you a unique friend code!
