NoThis is from the Winchester Website:How versatile are the Model 1300 barrels? Will they fit earlier or different models? The Model 1300 barrels will fit Model 1200 receivers, but 1200 barrels will not fit a Model 1300. Model 1400 barrels will not interchange with Models 1200 or 1300 barrels. The Model 1300 Defender barrels will not interchange with the 1300 Field models and viceversa.

No.
The 1400 is not a pump. The pump version is the 1300.
Yes the Winchester 140 is a cheaper varient of the model 1400. The only real difference is the type of material used in the storck and foregrip. A 1400 has Walnut or Synthetic stocks avalible. Where as a 140 was only avalible in a hardwood usually birch stock with no checkering and a walnut stain. The word Ranger on the barrel is normal the Model 120 pump and the 140 auto were both in the ranger series. The 140's are getting quite rare and not shown in many articles because Winchester only made 5000 of them in 12,20,16 and 10 gauge. Also the 1400 barrel will interchange with this fine Winchester. zmopar1@aol.com
Stocks for the 1200, 1400, 1500 should interchange. Nummrich (gunpartscorp.com) has synthetic stocks in stock.
no the 1300 barrel does not have gas ports in it yes the 1300 barrel will fit ,no it does not have the gas ports BUT any competent machine shop or gunsmith can drill out the ports for you.
Yes. The gas ports on the 1400 barrel will fill up with dirt/powder residue but it will work fine. I have been using an cut down 1400 barrel on my 1300 for many years.
