Yes it will fit on the rim since they are 15 inch, they will fit the cavalier if it has had the 195/65R15, the 205/65R15 is a little wider than the 195/65R15.
Keep in mind that the cavalier also had multiple different sizes, 195/70R14, 195/65R15 and the Z24 had the 205/55R16 applies to 1995 to 2005 cavalier models, you can also change the whole wheel assemblies even if different size as long as its from the cavalier or sunfire models, but do change all four for best results.
If your cavalier has the 15 inch rims it will fit, just make sure that the tire has enough clearance to ensure that they wont rub on the inner body areas such as parts of the wheel well, putting the 205/65R15 should be ok, since the cavalier does have a pretty deep wheel well and that the Z24 has the 205 tires.
Its been tried tested and true putting different wheel / tire size, as people have put the 205/55R16 Z24 wheels on a non Z24 models, and they all have the 5x100 rims, 5x referring to the numbers of bolt holes and 100 referring to the middle hole that is mounted to the hub 100 ( mm ) millimeters.
195 mm can be changed with 205 mm. by mounting on the wider tires such as 205/65R15, upgrading from the 195/65R15.
( 195 ) tread area width in millimeters.
( 65 ) side wall height in percentage ( aka ) aspect ratio.
( R ) Radial.
( 15 ) mouth of tire in inches, ( 15 inches ).
Also keep tires properly inflated for best safety, fuel economy, tire wear, refer to manufacturer given information(s) / spec(s)
which is found on the tire placard / sticker or the car manual.
Wishes you, Happy and Safe driving.

Yes, they can
As far as I know, the different sizes you can fit are: 185/60 R15, 185/65 R15, 195/55 R15, 195/60 R15, 205/55 R15 and 215/50 R15 on the 6x15 alloys. Chris from DIDCOT TYRE & EXHAUST
Yes, but your speedometer will not be accurate and performance and mileage will be effected.
Of course it will fit, but will it fit correctly is the question and the answer is no. Assuming the OEM tire is 205/65-15 and you install a 215/65-15 here is what you will get. Your speedometer will read 58.8 at a true 60 mph. You will also have slightly less power and your ride and handling will be adversely effected. Stick with the OEM size that the engineers who built your car recommend.
Normally. yes.
No, there is too big a difference in diameter.
Yes, this is an excellent substitute.
