No, the brackets & everything are different since the body changed that year. The 73 has that wide strip between bumper & body so the curved sides longer to take up the gap. I think wheelbase also changed slightly. The 73/4 are the same.
all gear ratios were available back in the day but most nova's came with a 3.08 gear.
It is under the back of the car by the rear bumber.
They have to bu cut off, and welded back on.
first of all you better check to see that your system has been converted to R-134 as back in 1973 they used R-12 coolant.
Those are structural, on a sub frame car, and have to be cut off, and welded back on.
The actual dash would have to be cut out, as it is attached. The gauge cluster un bolts from the back.
You have to get back there, and push the bottom cushion in, and then up. This is not an exact science, so you will have work with it. Once the botton is out, just lift the back up, and it will unhook.

There should be a cable that screws in the back of the speedo and into the transmission, the motor size has nothing to do with it.
Depending on what religion it converted too, you could ask it to convert back......
