Please check your spark plugs, wires, distributor and rotor or the ignition coil module. My '93 LX has an ignition coil module.
On the '93-'97 GT's the ignition coil is part of the distributor. If your coil goes bad you need to change the distributor.
no it has a distributorless ignition system. it cosists off two coil packs and the ignition control module that sits under them
if you remove the coil cover on top of the distrubutor, there will be a red wire, a white/ or yellow wire, and a black wire which will be the ground. The Coil is not mounted on distributor in 93. It has a remote coil
It doesn't have them, the red part on top of the spark plugs is called Direct Ignition. It replaces coil and cables in the ignition system! Wasman, Saabforum.nl
You probably need either the ignitor or an ignition module. Both are available in the aftermarket industry.
Have the ignition module and coil packs checked.
That's the 2 coil packs where one end of the spark plug wires connect ( Electronic Distributorless Ignition System )
behind the coil packs directly below the front exhaust manifold. takes 5.5mm socket
check the ignition coil when it heats up it loses contact when it expands with the heat.. if you let it coll for 20 min ant it starts I would say it is the coil.
The generic number given for wire resistance is 1000 ohms per foot
yes they will work
