Adderall doesn\'t directly increase your ability to learn anything; that is to say, your memory alone is no better with or without it. Adderall does, however, tend to increase focus and motivation, which could help you learn the material.
If it hasn\'t been prescribed to you by a doctor, though, I wouldn\'t use it as a tool to learn French, or for that matter anything else. Most people only feel as if they study better and produce work of higher quality while they\'re under the influence of it, while the reality of the situation is that they are capable of the same things sober with just a bit of persistence. If you use it consistently, the cost adds up significantly, and you\'d be surprised at how addicting this stuff can be, and where you\'ll quickly find yourself. Take it from an amphetamine addict. Most people aren\'t nearly as biologically prone as I am, but if you\'ve never taken it before and a doctor hasn\'t felt the need to give it to you, it\'s not nearly worth the potential legal, monetary, and health problems it could give rise to.
