Yes but there's a couple of things you need to make sure are done right.
The display, the power and the Bluray Discs.
This is the easiest way:
1. Buying a modern flat-screen and using HDMI is the best way to go since HDMI works with NTSC (America) and PAL (Europe) in most cases.
2. As for power your PS3 should have an universal power supply (120V / 240V), check the labeling to be sure. You'll have to find an adapter for the outlet though.
3. Don't worry about the Bluray Discs. If they're official PS3 Bluray Discs, they're region free and can work on any PS3.
While the game is not yet out the American Game is designed for the American HDTV and so is the American PS3 and they are not compatible with Europe's PAL system
The controller will work and not the games
It depends on the game if an American save will work on an Australian PS3. Many will not work this way.
No American Games are developed for American systems including the TV syatems
yes they will just like on a psp
all PS3 Products will work where ever you are.
No, a British console will only work in Britain and Europe.
No
yes
no they are designed to work on a different TV system
No it will not even work on the backward compatible PS3 consoles with 4 USB ports
Yes, it will work. But will it work perfectly? No, I´m sorry to say - but it will work 98%. The games that you´ll buy in Europe will work on the American bought PS3 system, although the PlayStation network will not work as it will say that: "it is not available in your region", which sucks. The great thing about the Blu-Ray disc system is that its region-free :D -Sure updates work. -Games work. -On-line play works (perfectly if I might add). -But accessing the PS3network will prove to be a kick in the nuts..
