As Nightmare was just released in 2010, Avenged Sevenfold is not expecting to make a new album anytime soon. The earliest fans can expect a new album is around 2012 - 2013.
There has been about sixty-four Avenged Sevenfold songs written. That is not including songs from Avenged Sevenfold's side projects. Nor is it including songs that did make in onto any album.

Synsyter Gates was the only member of Avenged Sevenfold that had his dad help make an album. His dad, Brian Haner Sr. or Papa Gates, helped out with making the album Nightmare.
