Techinally speaking, yes. In the fourth novel, Breaking Dawn, Bella Cullen is dying from having a half-vampire child, Reneesmee Carlie Cullen. Edward puts venom into her body and converts her into a vampire before it is too late. By becoming a vampire, it is considered human death because her heart stops beating, blood doesn't flow through her to give her body oxygen and such, etc. Bella simply just becomes a form of the undead- a vampire.
No, Bella doesn't die in Breaking Dawn. She wakes up from the transformation and lives the rest of her life as a vampire with her daughter (Renesmee) and her husband (Edward).
