∙ 10y agoAnswer 1It is a sad fact according to The Bible that if you do not come to God by His Son, Jesus Christ, before you die that when the judgment comes you will stand before God at the Great White Throne (Revelation 20:11-15) and when it is found that your name has not been written in the Lamb's book of life (Jesus Christ) you will be thrown into the Lake of Fire and suffer for eternity. This is far worse than just dying and feeling nothing!
The only way to escape this punishment is to accept Jesus as your Savior. (Read Romans 10:9-11) Pray to God that you want to be His child and ask Him to show you the right way to heaven.

Most religious people do not take the perspective that God actively kills, but that God has ordained a life and death for all people. In many respects, it would be similar to a battery. Eventually a battery loses all of its juice, but you would never say that the battery-maker "killed" the battery.
