Yes but 8" is about as wide as you want to go, as at full lock you still get a small amount of rubbing on the inner wheel arc covers by the inside edge of the tyre, even with spacers. At the moment I have 18x8" rims and that's about as big as you would want to go on the MR2.
I know RX7 FD wheels will fit on a Mk II MR2 but I don't know if the 14" wheels from the '92 MR2 will clear the brake calipers on the RX7.
Yes, the mr2 mk3 wheels fit all years 2000 to 2007. They will not fit the mk2 model which has a 4 stud pattern rather than the mk3 5 stud pattern.
